NUTRITION AND EXERCISE PROGRAMME POLICY

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for participating in professional Nutrition and Exercise programmes conducted by The Sports Nutritionist.

Enrolment and Acceptance

By enrolling in any professional programme offered by The Sports Nutritionist - including the 6-Week Exercise Programme, 6-Week Nutrition Programme (Bronze), 12-Week Nutrition Programme (Silver), 6-Month Nutrition Programme (Gold), or a Performance Nutrition Consultation (collectively, the "Programmes") - you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Programme Scope and Disclaimer

  • Goal-Oriented Coaching: Programmes are designed for performance optimisation, body composition changes, and health education.

  • Clinical Disclaimer: As a Registered Sports Nutritionist, we provide evidence-based strategies. These do not constitute medical "treatment" or "cures" for clinical diseases. Our services complement, but do not replace, the advice of your GP or medical specialist.

  • Results: Individual results are dependent on biological factors and adherence to the provided protocols; therefore, specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Eligibility and Medical Safety

  • Age: Participants must be 18 years or older. Minors require written consent from a legal guardian.

  • Medical Clearance: Participants with chronic conditions (e.g., heart conditions, diabetes, or digestive diseases) must disclose these on the intake form and may require medical clearance from a physician prior to commencement.

  • Physical Readiness: Participants in exercise-based programmes must be capable of engaging in moderate-intensity physical activity.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure the "Science-Based Framework" is effective, clients agree to:

  • Follow programme guidelines and preparation protocols diligently.

  • Maintain honest communication regarding health status, challenges, and progress.

  • Adhere to all safety precautions provided during clinical or exercise sessions.

Payment Terms and Commitment

  • Payment: Payment for Programmes is due in full at the time of enrolment.

  • Instalments: For extended programmes (Silver/Gold), monthly instalment plans may be available by prior agreement. In these cases, the client remains liable for the total programme fee regardless of early withdrawal or missed sessions.

  • Methods: We accept payment via credit/debit card and bank transfer.

Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Forfeiture

To ensure efficient scheduling and fair compensation for clinical time, the following rules apply:

  • Session Rescheduling: A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an individual session. Rescheduling is subject to clinical availability.

  • Session Forfeiture: Any session within a Programme (Bronze, Silver, Gold) cancelled or missed with less than 48 hours’ notice will be forfeited. This session will be deducted from your total programme balance and cannot be refunded, credited, or added to the end of the programme.

  • Programme Cancellation: To cancel your entire participation in a multi-week Programme, 14 days’ written notice is required. Failure to provide this notice may result in a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total programme fee.

  • Programme Expiry: All programmes must be completed within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., a 12-week programme must be completed within 14 weeks). Extensions are at the sole discretion of The Sports Nutritionist.
